The world needs more than just mainstream and it’s always refreshing to see some more tendencies of a youth gone wild. The DIRTY YOUTH is one angry new act from Wales that carries on the UK-spirit of the Sex Pistols to the roots of the NWoBHM. An Interview with lead singer Danni Monroe.
Autona: Hi Danni, I just listened to your single called "FIGHT". Awesome track, when will the new album be released?
Danni: Thank you very much, Dennis. Well, "Red Light Fix" will be out on October 10th.
Autona: Do you guys have musical idols?
| Danni: Our eclectic tastes vary from Metallica to Oasis to Whitney Houston. Pretty much every artist who has sold over 1 million records! (laughing) This is inspiring. |
Autona: For newcomer bands it's very hard to get some attention. What do you think personally ... what do you have that other bands don't have to become successful. I mean there's something about the Dirty Youth, otherwise we wouldn't do the interview (laughing).
