Autona: You already acted in many movies and in TV shows. What's the next role in the near future?

Elisabetta: In the near future I have a feature-length film called 'My Name is Sandy' coming out. The film, which was written and directed by Marco Iammatteo, a young Canadian director, surrounds the world of prostitution. I play the role of 'Sandy' an illegal immigrant from France who has been working the streets of New York.

Autona: In this mentioned drama "My name is Sandy" you took the emotional role of an illegal immigrant and prostitute. What was the hardest part acting in such an extreme role?

Elisabetta: I believe the hardest part was detaching myself from the character once the shoot was over. I wanted to be the best Sandy that I could be. For an actor you owe it to the viewer. I wanted to give an authentic performance so I put all of my energy, time and emotions in this role and somehow Sandy became a part of me. I got really attached to who Sandy was and her story.

Autona: You're also a model, a singer, a paintress and ... of course an actress. Where do you set your focus?

Elisabetta: I definitely set my focus primarily on acting. Acting has been my biggest passion since I can remember. I love to have the possibility to become someone completely different for a film… I love the psychology of it... I always felt at ease expressing different emotions...I'm also a very daring person when it comes to pushing your limits… I can't deny that I do have a passion for painting as well. Painting fulfills me in a different way... when you're an artist I think It's important to experiment and try different things... I don't think an artist should simply stick to one thing... in my case all that I do makes me feel balanced.

Autona: I read that you're passionate about charity and have been associated with Breast Cancer and Aids charities as well as The Children’s Foundation in Montreal. What does charity mean to you and isn't it also exhausting be involved in that many projects?

Elisabetta: It can be overwhelming, but for me the most unselfish thing you can do is help others. I feel blessed in everything that I have in my life and I feel like the way to pay it back is by helping others. I can't bare the thought of knowing that there are people suffering out there. I've always been a very sensitive person and I think the way to life is helping each other. There are so many people that need our help and we can all do something.

Autona: In how far did your three older brothers influence your career? Was this like a way for a girl to become tough and harder for the entertainment business? (laughing)

Elisabetta: My brothers have always protected me… ALWAYS!! (laughing) I think it's extremely fun for a girl to be backed with a team of brothers... no one wants to mess with you! (smiling)  I could be really tough myself at times... especially if it comes to defending something I believe in or someone... I think growing up with older brother's made me mature at a very young age. I always wanted to be like them and do things they would do...It made me comfortable to be around boys... I also got along better with boys than girls when I was younger... so I think entertainment being a business ruled mostly by men... I can handle it! (laughing)

Autona: Can you tell us more about the relationship between you and Kim Kardashian?

Elisabetta: It was only a few months after I had moved to Miami and signed with a PR firm here in South Beach. Khloe and Kourtney were shooting their season for 'Khloe and Kourtney Take on Miami' and their boutique DASH (which is located under my publicists office) was a location for their filming. They were in full renovation of the store and they happened to see my work. They loved what I do, so they asked for me to do something for their store. The fun part is that I didn't know what DASH was going to look like and I created a painting with the three sisters portraits in black, white & pink and their store was painted all in white, black & pink! It was a pure coincidence and the painting fits perfectly in their boutique! Plus they are extremely beautiful sisters so my job was simply a delight!

Autona: Thanks for the interview and good luck for the future.

Elisabetta: My pleasure (smiling).
